Foreign guest workers borrowed thousands of dollars for the trip to Brentwood, where jobs were waiting at an asbestos removal company they say ultimately tricked them into working more hours for less money.

JUST OVER seven years ago, on a cool summer evening in June, a tragedy occurred as the Livermore High School class of 2003 was graduating. A young man who was part of that graduating class died in a motorcycle crash on his way to the graduation.
