Monday night, the Austin Independent School District's school board laid out plans for $16 million of their $19 million surplus from a 2008 bond program. Members decided $10.7 million will be spent on necessary renovations and another $5.4 million will be spent on portions of the Facilities Master Plan, including IDEA charter school.
